New state-of-the-art showroom and design studio in Budapest
The showroom is located in Building ‘A’ of the category A Infopark, which is one of the most important parts of the premium quality technical/technological park of Budapest.
Infopark is the first innovation and technology park of Central and Eastern Europe. It is an innovation centre primarily for IT, telecommunication and software development companies where such multinational companies as Lufthansa Systems, Hungarian Telekom, Panasonic as well as the National Innovation Office (NIO) and the European Institute for Innovation and Technology (EIT) have found a place for their head offices.
The showroom is a fusion of technology and design, which shows in an unparalleled manner the user and integration defined possibilities of conference and audio technology for architects, designers, advisors, as well as for end-users, resellers and system integrators.
The establishment and operation of this showroom indicates appropriately Galax’s commitment to quality conference technology, the company’s strengths are reflected and demonstrated by each square meter. In continuation of the already achieved success spanning more than two decades the construction of this showroom has a very important role, since Galax’s current and future clients can experience and discover in a high-tech environment how the AV and conference technique can be incorporated into the design, as well as how integration is suitable to create experience out of the usage of certain products. The outcome became unique even at a European level, and the showroom highlights the phenomenon of how great is the effect exerted by aesthetics on users, innovation, creativity and efficiency of decision making mechanisms.
The showroom and design studio can be used not only for general and specific system tests but is functioning also as a support and training facility for the technologies/brands installed. From a technical point of view the most impressive part of the showroom is the display of the different conference systems. Nowadays during the planning and installation of the meeting and conference rooms the focus has been shifted from a quantitative and qualitative technology measures towards seamless and/or perfect integration of the technology into the surrounding environment.
The interior is divided visually into two parts, which serves the purpose to separate the functions in it. The "white space" is the place for the office work and contemplation with it's raw wood desks and information counter. The "black space" is a 4 meters long linoleum covered blackened area with it's sit-around meeting desk is the perfect environment to demonstrate the conference technical equipments.
Beside the functionality of the black and white space segments the other key conceptual element was the way how the showroom objects were exhibited: the high-tech conference technical equipments were integrated in raw pine furnitures; the products made with high-end technology were combined with artisan elements (drawn wires in textile cables, origami lamp cloud annexing the projector); highlighting the products with the help of the contrasts appearing in the substance use.
