House of electric vehicles for the SZEnergy team
My thesis plan gives answer to design a complex building, meeting the needs of SZEenergy Team, which research and develop innovative technologies on the territory of Széchenyi István University. Their activity, just like my plan is defined by continous research and development of alternative energy sources for electric vehicles. The spirit of the activity of the team, as well as the research of future activities made a hugh influence during the conceptual planning process of the building.
The designed building mass shaping was important to the following aspects at the same time be innovative, high-tech, free-formed, organic, awareness, still liquid and plastic. The established almost elliptical floor plan, from the point of mass is oriented to south to a steadily rising elliptical ring form, which could provide internal areas and levels in a sufficiently adequate premises and proper relationships. The photovoltaic ring used in the building suggests that the solar charging and the power supply of the building is in close contact with the vehicle. The solar charging of vehicules takes place over a broken representative internal event space on a protected open place.
