In the lower belt of Zugló, the residence for the elderly with its complexity of living-spaces, public areas and a glass house, situated in an environment of urban-style buildings - puts the concept of living-space, restricted by the bouderies of the town, fundamentally into question.

The residence for the elderly offers an alternative to the confinement in the present homes for the elderly. The paper elaborates on the means of preserving health and environmental education, both in mental as well as physical senses. The traffic of the town is separated by a glass house from the living-spaces, whereas the facade overlooking the park is more varied as to its form. There is a kinder-garden, a school and also a housing area in the neighbourhood of the project, thus enabling the integration of the different age-groups, due to the community spaces as well as the inner-yard garden on the ground level.
