The bivouac gives protection and provides a resting place in nature for a small group of people (1-8 people). The main objective of the project was to design appropriate scaling as well as suitable interior space planning, making the shelter easy-to-use.
The result was a structure 4 meters in length, 2.1 meters in width and 4 meters in height consisting of four mezzanine floors, which have a right-angled trapezoid layout widening from the entrance. They provide berths as well as access to upper levels. The ridge takes the outline of the berth compartments in order to save space. The lathing around the entryway has gaps in it, whereas around the berths it is tight.
