Aria: the room of music
The classic courtyard apartment building with outside corridors is not the most ideal for the purpose of a hotel, since it has a limited street front with only a few windows opening to it, but the architects, turning the disadvantage into an advantage, created an atrium that makes the rooms in the rear wing more attractive than the ones on the street side.
The four elevators, built in four corners of the building, lead the guests to separate tracts characterized by special musical themes and by the colors composed to them. Stepping out of the elevator one finds himself in an intimate corridor, from where only two rooms open. The rest of the outside corridor serves as terrace for the rooms, with stunning views of the building's atrium; and the vegetation, ingrowing the terraces, creates hanging gardens.
The guests of the hotel rooms can overlook to the uncovered atrium and to the roof above the ground floor of the courtyard, built with a special technique and appearance, made up of five curved glass panels supported by four glass beams – a structure that is unique in Hungarianrelations. The interior of the building is openly theatrical: the piano keyboard pattern of the hotel's lobby forms a kind of stage, the rooms, designed as ‘contemporary opera scenes’ are overlooking to this stage.
On top of the building there is a sky bar with a truly unique panorama, completed with exclusive VIP areas protruded above the glass domed inner courtyard.
